Can I increase/decrease disk space?
You can only increase disk space by changing the VPS schedule or by connecting local or network storage.
VPS master disk
- To change the size of the VPS master disk, go to the server detail in the user interface and click the "Configuration" tab.
-
You will be presented with a selection of all compatible VPS plans. Select: "Change disk, vCPU and RAM" and select the VPS plan according to your personal preference.
This option allows you to change the size of the master disk, vCPU, and RAM. Changing the disk size makes the change to the VPS plan irreversible. After upgrading, the partition size must be adjusted via the disk management client (except for WebApps servers, where it will happen automatically).
-
To change the VPS schedule, click the "Confirm & change" button.
In the case of a VPS upgrade, the VPS may be migrated to another server base. At the end of the upgrade, the VPS will restart. VPS may not be available during migration. Migration time depends on disk size and type. You can follow the progress on the "Summary" tab in the VPS detail. The change retains the original VPS properties (data, assigned IP addresses, etc.).
Direct storage:
- To connect or resize Direct Storage on an existing VPS, go to the server detail in the user interface and click the "Configuration" tab.
-
You can set storage sizes from 100 MB to 10 TB:
Size your storage can to be only increased. If you want to reduce the size, you must delete the storage in the server detail on the "Configuration" tab and specify a new size. Direct storage, unlike NAS, is mounted and accessible only for a specific virtual server where it is mounted as another local disk.
- Save the change with the "Confirm & change" button. The change will take effect after the server is restarted.
NAS backup and NAS storage:
- If you have already ordered NAS, you can change the size in the "VPS> NAS" menu. Click on the detail of your storage and go to the "Storage size" tab.
-
You can set storage sizes from 100 MB to 10 TB:
Storage size can only be increased. If you want to reduce the size, you must create a new network storage with a new size. The NAS can be accessed from the internal network from any of your VPSs.
- Save the change with the "Upgrade" button.
