How to park VPS incl. configuration?
The VPS Parking service is designed for virtual servers, where is back up the main disk and book the assigned server IP addresses. Parking is a good way to reduce operating costs for servers that you plan to shut down from production environment for a certain period of time and then restore them later.
Parking is charged as part of the service: "Virtual backup for 1 GB" see price list. Services that are not included in the VPS plan offer (for example as IP subnets), are billed separately even after your VPS is parked. If you have automatic backup enabled and do not want to use it during parking, deactivate it before you activate VPS parking.
Parking can be enabled in the user interface in the VPS detail by clicking on the "Park" button.
The server is not accessible from the NOD during the parking period and cannot be accessed in any way. Restoring the server to full operation (ie including the original configuration, IP addresses and data content) is possible by clicking on the "Restore" button from the overview of all VPS in the user interface.
